- Review your work to date and reflect on the development of your ideas and the progress you've made toward your goals.
- Think about the story you have to tell. (What excites you about this project? Where did you start? What challenges have you faced? What discoveries have you made? What lies ahead?)
- Consider how to effectively communicate the essence of your project to people who are not necessarily in your field and may have limited information about your goals. (What do they need to know in order to understand your project? What might help them to understand?)
- Write an outline or list of talking points.
- Pull together any visual or auditory aids that will help you to tell the story of your project. (What evidence of your work so far would be helpful to communicate your ideas?)
- Rehearse your presentaiton. (Your presentation should be about 3-5 minutes. Please do not exceed 5 minutes.)

Presentations of Work-in-Progress
At the midpoint of your work on this project, it's time to share your work-in-progress in a 3-5 minute presentation. This is an important opportunity for you to take stock of what you've accomplished so far, invite feedback from your peers, and consider the next steps in your project. In addition, you will sharpen your ability to communicate your ideas in a concise, engaging way.
